All of our magazine publications use the same ad dimensions, however, not all ad sizes are available in every publication.
Full bleed ads, please add 1/8 inch (.125) to all four sies and please use a safe inset of 3/8 inche (.375) from all four sides.
Crop Marks please place crop marks OUTSIDE the bleed.
We print at 150 line screen on gloss paper. Please use only high-resolution images when creating your ads. Images from the Internet will produce fuzzy looking ads. All images should be color corrected to U.S. Web Coated SWOP CMYK standards. All raster images should be at least 300 dpi @ 100% image size and all line art should be at least 800 dpi @ 100% image size.
We prefer properly distilled pre-press quality Acrobat .pdf files. Embed 100% of your fonts into your .pdf file. When exporting PDF files from Adobe InDesign, export with the compatibility set for Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4). We can produce your advertisement at no charge if you provide a sketch of how the ad should appear along with high quality photos and logos. Omaha Magazine offers its advertisers photography at a special rate. Please ask your sales representative for more information. Usage agreements for all photography and design apply.
We also accept InDesign ads that have been bundled with all required fonts, elements and logos. Put all of these elements into a folder, compress the folder, and e-mail the folder to your Omaha Publications Sales Executive. If your e-mail service does not allow you to send large attachments, please burn your files onto a cd-r and mail it to: Omaha Publications, Art Department, PO Box 461208, Papillion, NE 68046. We also have an FTP site available. Please call our Art Department at 402-884-2010 for a username and password.
We do not accept ads created in Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint or Word. We no longer accept packaged QuarkXPress documents. Please send PDF of ads created in QuarkXPress. Do not put your images and logos into Word documents. Send only the raw images.
